A VERY GOOD PLACE TO START.
Welcome to my
opening page. What follows are a number of short essays, poems and plays on
various subjects scientific, religious, political and philosophical. Not all of
them are serious, but I will leave you to decide which are the piss takes and
which are the serious ones.
Something I ought to warn you about is the fact that I am dyslexic and my spelling (English or American) is crap. I do not let this bother me because I take the attitude that if someone can tell me I have spelt a word wrong they must know what that "word" means in that context. Therefore, what difference does it make how it is spelt. Of course, this doesn't help if you are not an English user.
A question you may ask is why "SANDMARTYN"? I have always had a connection with the various birds and animals that share their name with me so it felt right to choose one of them as my symbol, totem if you like. I have also had a love of sand dunes and salt marshes. It therefore seemed right to chose the bird of the dunes as my totem.
If you want to pass anything on, quote from any ramble, perform any play, recite any poem, that is fine by me, but please remember to tell me about it. I do not expect to receive any royalties from amateurs but if any pro's fancy using anything I'd like "my cut". I would like to read anything that has been developed from my any of my work.
